Helping keep Montana's kids away from drugs

Oct 10, 2006 02:09 PM

Child advocates are traveling the state raising awareness of Montana's kids, who are being exposed to drugs at home.

On Friday, child advocates teamed up with the Department of Justice to make sure those kids get the support they need.

The Montana Alliance for Drug Endangered Children, (DEC), is hosting five conferences across the state to help communities better handle children removed from dangerous drug environments.

DEC workers say they hope that hope the conferences improve communication between all the agencies and volunteers that work with the children.
